What I do

I am a highly proficient interpeter in Urdu, Punjabi, Hindi and Mirpuri languages; with extensive experience across multiple sectors such as NHS, Immigration, Police, Solicitors, Schools and Social Work. My professional repertoire extends to attending Child Conference Meetings and court proceedings for Special Guardianship Orders (SGO’s).

My experience in dynamic and challenging environments, such as in the legal sector, has equipped me with a greater understanding of the procedures and terminology needed to interpret in public sector services. I am vetted with an enhanced DBS and hold NPPV3 clearance, indicative of my suitability for sensitive assignments.

Effective time management is critical in this profession, and I demonstrate this by my punctuality, flexibility, and organisational skills. I am willing to travel and have previously catered to clients across multiple locations in the UK, ensuring their needs are met to the best of my abilities.

My clients regularly provide excellent feedback for my work, which I take great pride in. As it reflects my unwavering dedication to this profession. As an interpreter, I firmly believe that empathy is as crucial a trait as professionalism, especially when delivering unwelcome news to clients.

“If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his own language, that goes to his heart.”
